Peter Newell Obituary, Legendary Man and Great Father Has Passed On

Peter Newell Obituary, Death – Peter died peacefully in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by the people he loved the most, without experiencing any pain or suffering. He passed away without any discomfort. During the last few minutes of his life, he did not experience any pain or distress at any specific time.

His sister, Freda Keary (Mountbellew), as well as both of his parents, John and Brigid (Scahill), had already passed away prior to his own mortality. He was the only surviving member of an extended family.  As the sole surviving member of his family, he was the only left. Those who were closest to him, including his devoted wife Aileen (Hughes), his children Barry, Helen, and Maggie, his daughter-in-law Caroline (Aherne), his son-in-law Eoin Loughnane and Anthony Leifi, his cherished grandchildren Tom, Mia, Harry, Ella, Nio, and Aniva, his brother Martin (Barranny), and his sisters Mary Casey (Lanesboro) and Anne Buckley (Barranny), will always miss him profoundly.

In addition, he is missed by his nieces, nephews, godchildren, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended relatives of the Newell Family, neighbours, friends, the broader Annaghdown Community, and all of the employees and customers of Newell Roofing Products, whom he esteemed immensely. He was a man who was deeply dedicated to the work that he accomplished despite the challenges he faced.
